Membership of the MGS
The Mediterranean Garden Society welcomes everyone interested in the plants and gardens of mediterranean-climate areas, amateurs and professionals, novices and experts alike.
Not a member? Sign up and get an information pack with five free leaflets: Making a Dry Garden, Some Drought Tolerant Shrubs, Mulches and Compost, The Waterwise Garden: Conserving Water and The MGS Garden at Sparoza.
As a member you will receive a quarterly journal, be invited to join excursions and find fellow gardeners in your locality if there is a branch. Members may join in the Seed Exchange and order up to 15 packets of seeds per year free of charge. You will be welcome at the MGS garden at Sparoza, the garden where the MGS was born and which is maintained exclusively for MGS members.
Once you see what we’re all about you may wish to contribute with articles or drawings for the journal, photos and texts for the website, or questions or observations on the MGS Forum. Or if you are close-by perhaps you would like to volunteer to work in the MGS garden on a Thursday morning?
Subscriptions run from January to December so new members joining during the course of the year will receive all four issues of the journal, The Mediterranean Garden, published in the year of joining.
